Hole in the headset grouping

OK, this may be a dumb question, but I have just received a new road bike. It's my first bike with separate stem and headset. The head set is an FSA Orbit. But here's the thing that bothers me, there's a hole in the middle of the top of the head set grouping that seems like an invitation for water to collect, especially since it's slightly recessed. Is this normal, or should there be some seal here? I raised this with the retailer and they acted dumb. But since they mated to order the wrong colour first time round, they might not have been acting.

Thank you both. The first version of this bike that was delivered did have a plug, but it had to go back because they sent the wrong colour. The replacement did not have a plug, but given that this is a new bike, and wasn’t cheap, I’d rather think that I didn’t have to resort to insulating tape.

That’s normal. There’s two
That’s normal. There’s two allen keys inside of different diameters. You can get a tiny rubber cap if you want but I’ve never bothered.

Canyon road bikes have the whole top open, because of a different design, and even if water gets in it still works fine after a couple of years.
