Align front dérailleur

    Evening,

    I recently purchased a cube peloton race 2014 with full shimano 105 groupset. Love the bike but for the life of me cannot sort out the gears. I have tried to align the front derailleur so that the chain does not rub against it when in any gear but I either end up with it wearing against the easiest combination or hardest combination. Please help as this is driving me insane.

    Head to youtube and learn how
    Head to youtube and learn how to fix it yourself. Its surprisingly easy and all you need is a 5mm allen key and a small Phillips screwdriver. Or throw money at the problem and take it to your LBS.

    When i recently bought a bike
    When i recently bought a bike with 105 the front derailleur was setup with a “half shift” to allow me to use the full range of gears on both chain rings.

    I’m sure your LBS will be able to run you through this.

    Bike shop? This will cost
    Bike shop? This will cost very little to have someone qualified fix, and they’ll probably show you how to do it while they’re at it. Alternatively if you bought from an LBS, I’m sure they will sort this for free if it’s a recent purchase.
