    This is the only race of the cycling world that I DON’T like. Team tactics count for next to nothing here (as far as the win is concerned, that is, not bottles, protection and the like)… and the only thing that matters is the final kilometer, where all we see is some sort of arm wrestling to see who’s the strongest… I’m just curious to see if someone agrees with me on this… And maybe somebody could explain to me why, despite this, I watch it every year…

    Bah – originally took out
    Bah – originally took out Mollema for Moreno for the credits, but when a couple of my other riders pulled out I didn’t notice I could have afforded to bring Mollema back in. So 1,3,6,9,10,11,12 is about 10 points shy of what I thought I had. Solid but unspectacular as usual!

    Its a long race with some big climbs, so the teams do alot of work, but to get a few from your team to the end is VERY hard at Fleche, so a lead out would be impossible.
