Just thought i’d put this photo up here – not my bike, someone else’s that i spotted at the supermarket.

First one to spot what’s wrong with this picture wins something. The helmet debate, maybe. Yes – if you win this you get to decide about helmets – can’t say fairer than that.

Am I the only one to focus on
Am I the only one to focus on the second lock that is “holding” the seatpost to the frame?

Proof that Dutch style cycling will never catch on in Britain.

Too late, some woman called Trott has an opinion on it…

I always wear a helmet…. but tbh I haven’t got any hair so I do that more for the camo effect tan I sport on my bonce through the summer.

No, but if you’re planning on riding a bike without a stem faceplate, I’d recommend it. 😉

    Oh, just realized I could
Oh, just realized I could probably have popped the faceplate, no need to undo the top cap – that would make for a much quicker getaway.

Anyway, the real question is – Ronstermonster – do we have to wear helmets now, or not? 😉

    And the winner
    And the winner is:

Although the rest of you are very inventive / saw things in the picture I didn’t realize were there. Everyone’s a winner.

I was very tempted to “steal” this bike with my multitool, just to see how quickly i could do it.

(Though I’d probably be slowed up by resetting the headset bearings to my satisfaction, and making sure the stem was midline. In other words I’d make a terrible bike thief!).
