My club- the Severn is doing a 25 club TT on the 4th August- first rider off at 9am. As it is a club event you can have a go without being a member of a club and it only costs £3. These sort of things are not scary races just a great way to test yourself against the clock. All sorts of people ride them, no need for all the kit. Have a look on the severn road club website for info. I think the course includes much of the Graveyard which a lot of local testers have a soft spot for.
