    Hi guys,
I mainly ride MTB until the past couple of years. I wasn’t great at maintaining that… And am worse on my road bike (cr1 comp 2012). I am due a new headset .. Any ideas what will fit or what measurements I need?
    Cheers!!

    Leigh

    Hi guys,

I don’t suppose you have a link to the Ritchey unit you bought? When I look on sites such as Wiggle, I see lots of different sizes even for semi-integrated pressfit 1 1/8 (OD 40mm, or OD 50mm, and some have additional sizing such as OD 50mm x 12.4) so its a minefield trying to determine the exact make model and size. If you have that to hand it would be helpful (I asked a local scott dealer and he couldn’t tell me the exact information either and is checking with Scott but so far no reply).

Your link leads to two sizes – short and tall. Which did you choose and how did you make that decision?

Have you or Leigh fitted the headset successfully yet? That would be the final confidence inspiring test that you’ve got the correct part – then the rest of us can go a purchase the same 😉

If you would be so kind as to post back here once you have done so, that would be great.
