So Scarponi has admitted to doing tests with Dr Ferrari, hoping to get an off season ban…….I don’t think that’s how it works for a second time Michele…..
Lampre-ISD rider hoping for rapid verdict to save 2013 season

Michele Scarponi has formally admitting doing tests with Dr Michele Ferrari after being questioned by the anti-doping investigators of the Italian Olympic Committee in Rome.

In a possible move to ensure he serves any suspension during the winter, the Lampre-ISD rider offered to be questioned in Rome before the investigators receive all the evidence from the Padua police investigation that lifted the lid on Dr. Ferrari’s activities.
As an Italian rider, doing
As an Italian rider, doing tests of any kind with Dr Ferrari, doping our otherwise, is banned and carries an automatic 6 month ban for the rider, since a ruling in 2002. As this is Scarponi’s second time being caught, you’d hope he’ll get more than 6 months.

I dont think he will be daft
I dont think he will be daft enough to admit doping on a second occasion, like bazzargh i believe he will mean “other” tests.

Mind you there is no smoke without fire. 😕

Nope, he’s not admitted
Nope, he’s not admitted doping, but to doing tests with Ferrari (presumably VAM tests, not bloodwork?) . Scarponi’s already had a doping ban, don’t think he’d get a short sentence if he admitted to it again.

You may also remember, last
You may also remember, last year when he released a press statement denying EVER being involved with Ferrari

In my eye’s this REEKS, So not only has he lied about being involved, he’s also admitted it on his own terms after seeing others in the USADA and other investigations come clean and receive out of season winter ban’s.

I hope he’s banned for life this time.
