South Downs 100 – Chichester

    Is anyone else on here doing the SD100 sportive on Sunday 21st Oct?

    I have signed up to it but no riding buddies so I’m going to be doing it solo (with 1299 others).

    I plan to do it at a pace around 25kmh (16mph).
    Setting off on the epic route as early as possible.

    The weather according to metchek is looking dry but SW winds up to 25mph

    Say hello if you see me…

    I crossed paths with the Dorking lot about 3 times last Sunday 🙂 whilst putting in some training miles.

    Hi Ben – will be on sign in duty as usual so won’t be going off until gone 9:30, and doing only the Std (as time doesn’t allow the kind of self-abuse you’re looking at) 🙂

    Did the Dorking Original in similar circumstances last Sunday and am actually looking forward to South Harting & Butser Hill – compared to the final 50km of Leith, White Down & Box, it should be a doddle.

    Have a great ride – I’ll keep and eye out for you (black Ribble Stealth, green bar tape and tyres, and a fat bloke on board)
