Brake blocks for zipps

:? Hi all , hope some one can help , I have just acquired a s/h pair of Zipps a 808 rear and 404 front and was wondering about brake blocks ?? I know you get ones for the carbon rim but can you then leave them on and use with alloy rims????. Many thanks
