Received my pre-ordered LEGO Road Bike set yesterday and spent a few hours building it all.

First impressions are not good though as there’s a lot of flex in the frame. The tyres look to be tubeless ready, but the wheel rims aren’t airtight and there’s no rim tape supplied, but worse than that, there’s no valves or even holes for the valves! They clearly haven’t thought this through. Also, the spokes aren’t even crossed, so they’re just going to collapse when using the disc brakes or even just pedalling.

Also, the saddle is way too small and really uncomfortable.

Rating 1/0 – looks nice but has a tendency to fall to bits when you sit on it.

The frame is more compliant than a used Shimano Ultegra crank

Don’t we just call that ‘compliance’?

    Purely decorative calipers, I’m afraid.

Incidentally, the tyres are the biggest tyres that LEGO has manufactured.

Do the callipers just nudge one side of the disc? That seems even worse than Avid BB5.
