    I honestly believe that until the Strict Liability rule is introduced, cycling deaths will continue. As anyone in London who cycles will confirm, if we hold up a car or other vehicle for more than 1 second, they will start hooting and gesticulating as to why we are in their way. But can we complain when they are in our way? Nope. Maybe I should try it….

    @ mad scott – the local rag did a better job than the ‘esteemed’ herald in reporting the matter. On an aside McGill’s drivers are still driving like nutters today. On way home from work one of their drivers was inches off my rear wheel then passed dangerously close finishing with cutting me up. London player – great blog!
