New Road Frameset – Budget £1600

I’m looking to ‘invest’ in a road frame and fork. Currently riding a carbon cube GTC which has been spot on. But I have saved £1600 and plan to buy something suitable for 50/100 mile sportives, local races and the odd 10/25 TT. I’m 9.5 stone (enduro MTB’er) and looking for advice on which frame would be best suited.

I plan to get fitted/sized professionally prior to purchase and will try to cycle as many as possible before I buy. LBS offer Specialised/Trek/Merida/Giant/Cube/Lapierre/Pinarello.

Been looking at De Rosa/Colnago/Orbea/S-works online but starting to get confused by it all. :/

Thanks in advance for any links/advice.
I’ll be taking my time before choosing.

Got a Kuota Kebel last year
Got a Kuota Kebel last year and I have to say it is absolutely fantastic. Super comfortable for sportives but stiff and precise handling so would be at home on circuits/crits.

It’s also a bit different to the crowd if that matters to you.
