    its gonna be tight between uran and taaramae for white i reckon, as taaramae was 45 seconds quicker than uran in the tt and uran only has just over a minute at the moment

    I can’t see Uran in the top
    I can’t see Uran in the top 5, he’s stuck with the GC guys fairly well so far but as and when they start to really go for it and attack I doubt he’ll be able to keep up. I’d have Contador, A Schleck, Evans, S Sanchez then probably F Schleck as the top 5. I still think that Contador and Andy will just attack one day, possibly Thursday, dropping pretty much everyone else. Voeckler might stay in the top 5 until the TT.

    Its not beyond the realms that Uran can do a top 5, BUT how well does he TT?

    The only problem i see is SKY seem to have been given free reign to attack as they see fit now Wiggo is gone, so could they be brought back into a team mindset to get Uran up there?

    I think Evans played it perfect. He now knows there is only Contador and possibly Sanchez that have the legs ! Personally i think the Schlecks have blown it – yet again !

    What are peoples thoughts about Uran in a top 5 ? 😕

    Thats just what i was thinking, Andy and Contador are needing to make up the same kinda time and if Frank goes with them its a bonus to Leopard, i do think Evans has shown his hand a little early, but if he hadn’t gone with Contador today, he might have stuck with Andy and lost more time on Voeckler

    Maybe it’s cause he often freaks out. After stage 14 or 15 he tried to splash water on a nerving reporter but it hit Cav.

    Personally as much as Evans will be happy to have put time into Andy I think it might work against him. Now both Andy Schleck and Contador need to put a good few minutes into Evans so instead of marking each other out they might just try and dissapear off up the first mountain they get to working together rather than trying to stop each other from gaining any time.

    Up to now Andy and Frank have both been thinking “there’s no point putting alot of effort into an attack if Contador is coming with me”, now that Andy needs to gain maybe 3-4 minutes on Evans (and Contador the same) to be safe going into the TT they might just go for it whether Contador is on their wheel or not. Plus if Contador is feeling punchy Andy might be to only guy capable of keeping up.

    To be fair, i know your an Evans fan and i’m not, but he is surprising me and could maybe pull something off

    He’s a great rider, there is just something about him i dont like, but cant put my finger on it, it could be his dodgy voice, lol

    Wooow he pulled out 3sec on the man who dragged him up the hill, I’m not even looking at the Schlecks for the win, so i wouldn’t say it was majestic at all, he let Contador pull him up the hill and then pulled out about 8 sec on the downhill and then got pulled back again

    Just wait for the big mountains and his excuses :B
