I’ve just bought a couple of
I’ve just bought a couple of the cream SS tops. They’re a good fit and suitably thin for a baselayer, but they have a certain… smell… that’s far from pleasant. My missus described it as like burning rubber.

They’ve been through the washing machine once, and it’s still there but less, so I’ve got hope that it’s temporary. None of the bits of merino I’ve bought from other manufacturers have had the problem.

Anyone else, or just me?
