    Tommy Voeckler………. X( X( X( X( X(

Changed him out two days ago because he was doing nothing for me, then he goes up the road with a team mate winning, so he’s gonna get alot of points 🙁

But i did switch out Feillu for Duque which was handy, because Feillu pulled out before the stage and Duque went and scored another 19 mountain points, so at least i’ll get a couple of points for him in the Mountains competition, think he was top today, so thats 5 whole points 🙂

My other scorers as i saw them across the line will be, Wiggo, Vino, Chris Sorensen, but i dont know where Sivtsov or Da Costa were and pretty sure EBH dropped right back

    106 points, not bad, more
106 points, not bad, more than if I had stuck with the Dauphine I think. Once again tho so called tt specialists let me down. hurumph now for tommorrow. Legs are not too bad, but got a saddle sore, and one of my riders abandonned, so more work for the rest of the domestiques.
Looks like sacrifices need to be made to make sure not too many Dauphine riders left to swap over after Sunday.

    Hoping Jack Bobridge will
Hoping Jack Bobridge will turn in a good performance – short course should suit him.

Apart from him and Cancellara I’m still Dauphine-focused.

i dont think denvenys is a gamble, i wanted him, most likely to do well out of the domestiques in my opinion, but was too expensive.

Gone for sagan, cos i did not
Gone for sagan, cos i did not have enuf money left for cancellara.

Also went for ben swift cos none of the sprinters in the cd are going to score many points now, and he might get a few points in the tds.

And devenys as an outside gamble.

I wish i knew something about this sport.

    ho kay here goes.
    Kept in

    ho kay here goes.

Kept in Wiggins, Vino, Moncoutie (because I think he will show today or tomorrow) Rabon because hes been a filler all along and Rui Costa.

I transferred in Hushovd because he can do a good time trial, but then I saw the great big lump in the middle of the course blimey….

After bringing in Voeckler, mini genius stroke, he is out in favour of Cancellara, which should be money in the bank.

Then the difficult bit. I had Castroviego, Bookwalter, Talansky, Sagan, Stybar and Grabsche on my short list.

Went for Castroviego because he is a brillant tt rider,
Stybar because although he is only learning his trade, this course looks made for him…I wonder if he will use his cyclocross bike or a TT bike.
However i think it is Grabsches birthday, but didn’t want to sacrifice Cancellara for him.
This is Europe not USA so discounted Talansky and Bookwalter.
Sagan in the wrong section for non sacrificing transfers.

    So the team is
    wiggins
    Hushovd
    moncoutie
    cancellara
    Rui costa
    Stybar
    Castroviego
    Rabon
    Vinokourov

9 different teams so no easy 5 pointers.

    Seemples tsk tsk 😀
