Logging In to road.cc

    Since the ‘server maintenance’ yesterday evening i Have had to log into road.cc three times, but I have not logged myself out at any time.

    My laptop is on all the time and prior to the upgrade the last time I had to log in was late last year.

    Anyone else having similar problems?

    The reason for this is that
    The reason for this is that the website wasn’t deleting any sessions at all, meaning that we had over 8m sessions stored in the database and taking up 3gb of space. This is what caused the site to fall over yesterday.

    So anyway, we’ve had to do some tinkering to keep the sessions manageable, and originally went too far the other way. Currently sessions are limited to 8hrs, but we’re working to make them persistent for logged-in users.
