Cycling to granny’s

    This is one of my major goals for next year: cycling from Bath to my parents’ house in Suffolk. Should be about 200 miles i reckon, so a challenging ride, never ridden that far before. Probably going to do it overnight too rather than trying (and failing) to do it in a day.

    anyway i know the bit in south suffolk and i’m good as far as swindon but in between there’s a huge swathe of the country that’ll be completely new to me. i’ve knocked up what i think is a sensible looking route (attached) but if you live in that bit and you’ve got suggestions, i’d love to hear them!

    190-ish miles and in one day.

    Go for it Dave, would be a good article in the prep, duration and after thoughts.
