I would like to take part in a cycling event for charity leaving the hull or york area. Is there an event that i can work towards.

Have a look at http://www.bhf.org.uk/events, they have events running most weekends in various parts of the country.

If you want a sportive ride without a charity sponsor then have a look at http://www.cyclosport.org
