    So, as the tile says, Weight Weenies ..??

    Do we have any on here??

    I’m building up a first roadie and trying to make it fairly skinny (not overly, just don’t wanna be upgrading too much once she’s built).

    So, getting on to the ALL IMPORTANT subject of wait for it …. Bottlecages .. 🙂

    Is anyone using the Mount Zoom cages that come in at just 11g each? See link:

    If not that particular model, is anyone using a similar styled cage?

    What I want to assess is the capability of the cages to retain the bottle over rougher ground as I really dont wanna throw £35 (Ebay price) at a pair if they’re not up to the job.

    Any thoughts, experiences??

    I’ll probably give em a go, lets face it if they’re not up to it, someone’ll snatch em on Ebay I’m sure .. 🙂

    the full loop ones tend to be
    the full loop ones tend to be better than the wing type ones at the very light end of the scale, as otherwise there’s not enough carbon to make it stiff. you need to be more selective about the bottles you use though. haven’t tried that particular one…
