    One of the early stages of Tour, in the coverage, they mentioned AC was leaving Astana for another team next season. Anyone know where he is off too yet?

    somewhere in the masses of interweb tour related stuff ive been looking at over the last three weeks i’m sure i read that Bjarne Riis was after him. Whilst Sunguard and possibly Specialized and/or Siemens would continue the sponsorship when Saxo Bank and the Schlecks jump ship.?

    Not really no, unless you count Spainish as the sporting people to beat at the moment (ie tennis, footie, etc)
    so if the rumour of another sportsman from that country, a certain Fernando Alonso did sponsor a cycling team with AC as the leader it could get a fair amount of press coverage I’d imagine.
