torque wrench

    anyone know of a decent torque wrench for around the £50 mark? (for bike related fettling) . or do i need to spend more..

    and whats better the ‘click’ ones or the ones like the park tools ‘beam’ type.

    google ‘sealey’ torque
    google ‘sealey’ torque wrenches and you’ll find something suitable at that price point. It wont come with bits though.

    I have this one, which works for everything on my bike. It has a range from 2-24Nm.

    One of the main problems i’ve
    One of the main problems i’ve always found is that bike bolt torques always fall in between the low-torque and high-torque units, meaning you have to have one of both. Beam ones are good enough for most bike jobs if you’re more careful, the great thing about a ratchet one is that you don’t have to be careful 🙂

    Halfords do a good one for £50 that goes down to 8Nm, but it’s always the really low-toque bolts i’m most worried about!
