What are good lightweight 32c tires?

    I want a set of tires that I can go on canal tow paths ok but aren’t knobbly or built like welly boots!

    I’ve been running the Specialized Borough tyres that are 700 x 32 and came on my Tricross for over a year (and around 2000+ miles) so far with zero punctures (tempting fate?). They are pretty smooth down the centre with slight a slight knobble to the edge.

    The guys at Spa Cycles swear by the puncture protection on the Schwalbe tyres they stock and the Marathon supreme might be what you are looking for.

    Panaracer RiBMo rubber is good too, really puncture resistant but they roll pretty well… wouldn’t say they were ‘lightweight’ but they’re not heavyweights either
