M-Wave Flexi Tube Mini Bike Pump AV/FV Fit
This cheap little mini pump (£6.89 from Alpinetrek if you’re ordering other stuff) has passed the roadside test. A reversible (Presta / schrader) hose lives under a stout plastic cap in the handle, screwing on to the end of the pump. The action might be quite short and it didn’t seem to push and pull air, but getting up to a decent pressure again seemed like a breeze. Being a screw-on, it’s safest to use non-removable Presta valves in case the insides want to come away too when you detach.
The illustrations show it attached to the bracket by the pump body – there is a securing strap supplied, but the handle clips in more securely, which I’ve done leaving the body pointing upwards.
Anyway, a pretty nifty mini pump for the money.
