Just a note of congratulations to Formula 1 championship leader Jensen Button and the 12,000 other people who took park in the london tri this weekend.

Jensen finished in a time of 2:07 for the olympic distance which is an incredible performance. This included a 24minute 1500m swim, 1hour 3minute 40km bike through london and a 35minute 10km run (with transitions making up the remainder).

Its good to see a sportman of such stature mixing it with the great unwashed in a sport that I love. Rumour has it that he challenged Lewis Hamilton and that Lewis pulled out.

Hi, Ive got hold of a pair of zipp vuka carbon fibre extensions to go onto my road bike to allow me to train for the triathlons this summer but I dont have the clamps etc for them. I know the vuka bullet clamps are avialable but they cost about £120 so was wondering if anyone here, with your combined wealth of experience, has any suggestions about where to get some basic clamps and arm pads from.
