Sugoi
Sugoi RPM jersey
Sugoi's RPM jersey is a lightweight top that is just the ticket for actual summer or maybe an autumn break to somewhere hotter than here. Just not in white, not for me anyway.
Sugoi Limoncello Jersey
The Limoncello jersey from Sugoi just cries out summer- from its incredibly light breathable fabric to the pale blue colour and design homage to the famous Italian citrus liqueur.
Sugoi RS Glove
For days when the weather is warm, it's great to wear lightweight short-fingered gloves (or track mitts, as die-hards still like to call them) - and a pair of Sugoi RSs might be just the thing.
They're very comfortable to wear with no protruding seams that may chafe. Although turning the gloves inside out for a close inspection, some of the seams are a bit untidy, while others have stitching very close to the edge of the fabric, meaning seams might split if you pull on the gloves with too much gusto.
Sugoi Evolution bib shorts
Sugoi's Evolution bibshorts are at the lower end of their performance orientated range but the quality and ergonomics belie the price tag.
The eight panels are stitched together using flat seams providing a close contoured fit. The 'Evoplus' material made up of 68% Polyamide (Nylon), 18% Polyester and 14% Elastane (Spandex) feels soft to the touch but also has a solid, close knit feel to it minimizing stretch.
Sugoi Greta Capri
The Greta Capri from Sugoi is a godsend for tourists, commuters, recreational riders or anyone who just wants to avoid looking too much like a cyclist. For many cyclists a pair of trousers or capris in the wardrobe is a very handy thing indeed, bridging, as it does, the gap between casual street wear and practical on bike performance. The key however, is finding a pair that look relaxed enough, but also take into account the needs of the rider, be they sporty or otherwise.
Sugoi Betty Full Finger Glove
A simple pull-on style full-fingered glove, the Sugoi Betty is suitable for all kinds of cycling in spring and autumn conditions. These gloves would also suit summer off-road use, if you want a bit more coverage. If you run warm, they might even see you through warmer winter rides.
Sugoi Versa Jacket
For the changing of the seasons and indeed, year round use, a convertible windproof jacket and gilet combo like the Sugoi Versa Jacket makes a handy addition to a cyclist's wardrobe. More sophisticated jackets of this type often have some sort of removeable yoke/bolero type affair while simpler models just have sleeves that zip-off. How well they work and how easy they are to convert on the fly depends on the individual design.
