Updated Velon app provides real-time rider data from the world’s biggest cycle races

Get real-time race data on your smartphone during WorldTour races

The recently updated Velon Live Cycling app is a fantastic way to follow the action from selected UCI WorldTourt and continental races, streaming live data such as speed, cadence and power straight to your smartphone.

The second instalment of the Velon app is available now for iOS and Android and is currently streaming live data from the Giro d’Italia. If you’re watching the Italian Grand Tour this weekend, get the app downloaded and get some behind-the-scenes access to the top racers.

The app is able to display power, speed, heart rate and cadence from selected riders, providing a brilliant insight into just how much effort it takes to survive in a breakaway or keep with the general classification leader on the biggest climbs.

“This second instalment of the Velon app brings you exclusive and ground-breaking content directly from the best riders. You will enjoy our Data Streaming giving you live performance updates from our riders on selected UCI World Tour and Continental races,” says Velon.

You can view the full schedule of races that the Velon app will be streaming live data from here http://www.velon.cc/en/races. And yes, the Tour de France is on there.

Velon is free to download for Android and iOS users.
