The Limoncello jersey from Sugoi just cries out summer- from its incredibly light breathable fabric to the pale blue colour and design homage to the famous Italian citrus liqueur.
Made from extremely lightweight 100% polyester fabric, this is an unreservedly warm weather jersey. The cut is contoured and athletic but easy enough to give comfort in hot weather, where a race fit jersey could feel restrictive. The elastic at the arms isn't too tight and there's no gripper tape at the bottom of the well-shaped hem. The front zip, that passes discretely through the flamboyant and cheery Limoncello design is fully half the length of the jersey, offering plenty of ventilation options. Three simple elasticated pouch pockets at the rear complete the features.
In wear it's extremely comfortable no matter how hot the weather, with a feeling of coolness from the fast wicking soft to the touch fabric. The rear doesn't migrate up the back, despite the lack of gripper and everything stays put where it should. The zip at the front moves easily and there's no shortage of ventilation with it at full extension. Collecting butterflies in your cleavage may be a problem though! The fit is flattering but sporty, and the size about right, with a medium roughly equivalent to a UK12.
Ultimately, this is a feel good (in more ways than one) jersey for long summer recreation rides, but it would be just as good for making others smile in a summer sportive.
Verdict
Super light summery feel good jersey.

very well made and nicely finished.
Extremely comfortable no matter how hot the weather. Wicked moisture quickly and effectively.
Lightweight fabric but doesn't snag too easily so should last well. Only machine washable at 30 though so there may be odour build up with time.
Extremely light and breathable.
Very comfortable indeed. Kept body cool and dry even in hottest conditions.
A little bit more pricy than many summer short sleeved jerseys but fabric is high quality and very fast drying and the top is well made and stylish.

Believing fervently that cycling will save the world, she wishes that more people would just ride a bike and be pleasant to each other.
She will ride anything with two wheels, occasionally likes to go fast, definitely likes to go far and is always up for a bit of exploring somewhere new and exciting.
