Shutt VR race cape schwag: we have winners!

It hasn't rained since ours arrived, so it must be good...

It's been a busy week what with the Giro and all, so no-one's gone out for a kilo box of broken biscuits from the store, we're exisiting on digestives and we've barely got the energy to press the button on the random number generator. But press it we have – three times – and out popped the following lucky winners of a Shutt VR race cape...

automatic_jon, pjt201 and Rapha Addiction Helpline!

Well done to out three lucky pups, bad luck to our 615 empty-handed tryers. But fear not, there'll be another compo along soon enough, you'll see!

-------------------------------------------------------

Shutt VR are doing their bit to ensure a barbecue summer and you can too by entering our latest Schwag Grab for one of three of Shutt's wonderful rain capes worth £59 each.

The elements will hold no fears when you're wearing one of these - proof of its water repelling powers is that it hasn't rained noticeably in these parts since we had one in to test… not enough for us to actually take it out in the rain anyway.

Even if you were to be caught out by a sudden summer downpour you'd still stay nice and dry (well, your top half would) thanks to the breathable, waterproof material it's made from - in Switzerland, so it must be good. It's also stretchy and translucent just like all the best high end race capes.

Other features include reflective trim, hem gripper, Lycra cuffs, mesh panels at the armpits for extra venting and a nice soft polyester collar so all us tough roadies don't get a nasty rash from rubbing. It packs down nice and small too.

To win one and do your bit to keep the weather gods at bay all you've got to do is comment in below - we will draw the winner on Wednesday. Usual schwag grab rules apply, good luck!

It's not actually a CAPE though, is it? I call that a jacket.
Does it have a sou'wester with it?

This would be just the ticket for my commute to work, my lab coat doesn't provide much protection from the elements! just chemical spills 3

I realise that this makes no difference whatsoever, but my rain jacket fell out of my rucksack this morning.....along with my change of underwear, whilst running round J28 of the M62 (not on the road obviously!). Found pants....no sign of much loved waterproof jacket. So....here's hoping either a) I re-trace my steps this evening and find it or b) I get picked for the Schwag cape!!! Serves me right for running in rather than cycling 20
