The .cc part of road.cc stands for cycling club, team road.cc to be precise and since its inception last year we've certainly had some fun with our members. We've had rideouts, taken part in a 24hr endurance event, given away free carbon wheels and now we're offering a live Q&A with our technical team.
revolve24
team road.cc were invited to the inaugural revolve24 event at the Brands Hatch race circuit and we took four members with us to make up a team of six for a 24hr relay.
A motley crew of riders who'd never met each other spent about thirty-six hours together in a concrete pit garage talking tactics, eating bacon rolls and huddling around a four bar electric fire. To say we bonded was an understatement.
The fact that we finished third in our group with 467.136 miles and 192 laps was the icing on the cake.
Live 'Tech Talk'
Our Technical Editors spend hours and hours trawling the bike shows plus meeting manufacturers and distributors all over the world. A wealth of knowledge that we're sharing with our members on a fortnightly basis in our live Tech Talk.
The next one is this Friday, the 5th of Feb with Dave Atkinson at the helm from 12-2pm answering queries about thru-axles, disc brakes or those 'Campag or Shimano' classics.

team road.cc rideouts
Our team road.cc rideouts are free to all but we can only take limited numbers so if you are a member you get first shout on a place once registration opens.
So far we've been to Sheffield, New Forest, Winchester, Swindon and Oxford with Chichester up next with a trip out from road.cc HQ to follow.
We plan a couple of routes and bung in plenty of coffee and cake for a great morning out on the bike, we also dish out some free kit!!
Schwagaway
Not only do we dish out free kit to one lucky member every Friday, we also have our big promotions. The latest being a set of £600 Club Roost carbon fibre wheels. All our members had to do was stick their name down to be pulled out of the electronic hat.
We've got plenty more in the pipeline.
Not bad for a £14.95 yearly subscription eh?
Italy Week
Fancy treating yourself to a little early season training week in the sun?
Our members get a 10% discount at the Hotel Belvedere in Riccione so why not use it for our Italy week. We're there between the 9th and 16th of April so why not come out and ride with us.
Our editors will be out there testing bikes and mixing it on the daily rides. We certainly had a beautiful time when we were out there last time.
.......and even more benefits
You'll receive a team road.cc card which will get you discounts in cafes and bike shops across the UK and beyond. We'll also feature special offers for team road.cc members on our members-only area of the site, including great discounts on products and even free entries to sportives.
£20 off a road.cc jersey
team road.cc members can get a classic argyle jersey for just £39.99, a saving of £20 on the usual price. And on top of that there's 10% off everything in the road.cc shop. There'll be other offers and discounts throughout the year.
Race for us!
If you like the idea of racing but you're not a member of a club, we're affiliated to both British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials, so you can race for us in road races, crits, cyclocross, time trials, mountain bike events... pretty much anything. We'll be featuring race reports on the member's section. Get your name in lights!
