Sign up before ballots close for Europe's biggest sportive RideLondon

RideLondon 2016 entries filling up: get your chance to ride 100 mile car-free route

This could be your last chance to sign up for the 2016 Prudential RideLondon Sportive, as entries are filling up for next year’s event, which will be held on Sunday 31 July 2016.

Earlier this month Mayor of London Boris Johnson called the 2015 Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling “the greatest mass-participation cycling event in the world” - and you have the chance to ride the biggest sportive in Europe along with more than 25,000 other cyclists.

Entries to the ballot can be made here, and will close on January 8th, or when 100,000 entries have been made.

Starting from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, you’ll head out through London towards Surrey’s stunning countryside on 100 miles of traffic-free roads before returning to the capital to finish on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.

The entry fee for the ride for 2015 and 2016 was increased last year to £58.00 for UK participants.

“We held the entry fee at the same price for two years but the costs of putting on the UK’s biggest sportive means that we need to increase the entry fee by £10.00 this year,” said event director Hugh Brasher.
