How long before the rest of the world realises too? The revelations are being kept secret in Operacion Puerto for now, that would make people realise cycling is just a scape goat for other sports, but surely it’s only a matter of time?

It’s frightening how many people think that cycling is the rotten egg in the basket and never think twice about Rio Ferdinand’s shopping trips, Christine Ohuruogu’s ‘forgetfulness’ or Rafael Nadal’s shoulders…
