Lance Armstrong in another "comeback" decided he would do some Ironman to raise money for his foundation.

He came home second in the Panama half ironman with a time of 3:50:55, The triathlon event in Panama was raced over a distance of 1.9km swim, 90km cycle and 21km run.

He was beaten by Bevan Docherty, Olympic triathlon gold medallist at the 2004 Athens Games.

The next Ironman Armstong will compete in will be held in France in June, as he trys to qualify for the Hawaiian world championships which will be held at Kailua-Kona, October 13, 2012.
