Afternoon everyone! Been reading Road.cc for a while now and finally decided to make the jump to commute via cycling a few weeks ago. Why I did it in winter I’ll never know…

The reason for this post is that after a few near misses, I was ready to pack it all in, too cold/dangerous and all that, but instead found a helpful map showing locations of all cycling accidents from the past 5 or so years. Basically, it allowed me to work out a quieter route that I was less likely to get hit on. Which has convinced me to persevere with it! I thought I’d share with everyone incase anyone else is thinking of packing it in, or could do with their commute being a bit safer! After all, the more of us on the road, the safer it will be for everybody!
