Leaking valve extensions

Hi 103 ,Can anyone recommend anything (What do the pro teams do)? or is there a sealant on the market that I can use on the extension valves to stop them leaking air so quickly, i'm in the process of fitting tubs, so don't fancy getting them off too soon because of a leaky valve!
Always grateful for any invaluable knowledge 26

I wish I had done that, I have got one that has corroded away to buggery (aluminium meets brass with a dash of road salt) and is both leaking, and impossible to get off...

Cheers for that, got some tape knocking about somewhere, I'll have to dig it out

I can see PTFE tape working well or a dab of sealant like Sika flex on the thread.

I'll vouch for the PTFE tape solution...

Try wrapping ptfe plumbers tape around the threads before you put the extensions on.

Good luck!
