12 month pilot study into "do bikes help change your journeys"?

BBC had an almost fact-free bit about the conclusion of this project - at least they can keep that positive...

The project press release details are here:

https://online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/apps/news/release.aspx?newsID=7058

Funded by charity.  Can't find any "conclusions yet" but a search shows that there are lots of very low cost projects going on.  Nice, but I wonder about the utility (apart from persuading 6 people - who were presumably keen already - that bikes / e-bikes are useful for them)?  Perhaps it's too soon to say if bikes are useful - it's only been a century or so...

Again it's tempting to yell "the car's behind you" in a pantomime fashion.  That seems petty given it's people - normally volunteers - making positive interventions.  I'm pretty sure the growing number of examples from round the world show what actually works to encourage cycling though.  At least in wealthy developed places like much of Europe and the UK.
