Evans Cycles RIDE IT: South Wales Road Sportive
The Brecon Beacons are just made for riding and we’re determined to make the most of the natural landscape with this awesome hill-fest of a ride.
Starting from the popular Parc Bryn Bach riders will head out over the bleak tops before plunging down a fantastic 6 mile descent! The long loop heads off here to ride a long, gradual incline past Crickhowell before yet another 6 mile drop. Obviously all this talk of descents doesn't hide the fact that there is a fair amount of climbing and a little sting in the tail. After the last drink station you pass the beautiful Talybont Reservior before climbing out the back of the valley on a 20% hill. Look out for the cattle grid as this signals the top and most of the uphill.

I have some sympathy with the cost of materials being up, cost of groupsets etc....
You could spend half that and get a decent upgrade from stock/cheap tyres. But Pirelli don't do 'cheap' tyres....
Why the test on Autumnal gear when Summer is just around the corner?
Agreed. It's a good idea but not foolproof.
Seem to be many power meter missed attempts, which doesn't surprise me, it's a difficult thing to get right for a decent price. I bought a Limits...
