The Gobik Thermal Armour Vanta is everything that a jacket should be: warm, waterproof and has a great fit. It's also very well made and provides good breathability while protecting you from the worst of the weather.
The Vanta jacket is designed for winter riding with a recommended temperature range of between -5 and 10°C. We found that the Polartec Alpha lining was not only incredibly warm but also great at regulating temperature when things warmed up.
On the outside, the Polartec NeoShell has a 10k waterproof rating which throughout testing worked great in wet conditions with rain beading on the jacket and running off. The jacket is also impressively windproof to further keep out the chill.
With seven sizes to choose from, chances of getting the right fit are increased and we found it comfortable, offered good coverage with a dropped tail and high collar, as well as not flapping about in the wind. The double zip design is a novel idea and works well, as do the pockets which are easy to access and held their contents securely, you also get two zipped ones inside.

Overall, this is an excellent jacket. It fits well, copes with the cold, wind and rain, and is breathable enough to wear for most of autumn through to spring without that sweaty feeling that a winter jacket can often bring.
