Multiple teams: the definitive party line

Okay, so everyone seems to be asking. So here goes:

It's okay, as far as we're concerned, to have an account running a normal team with transfers, and a second account run as a purist team. They're effectively separate competitions, so you're not really doubling up to increase your chances of winning. For the 2013 game a purist team for each tour will most likely be an option within your main account, if you want to run one.

It's not okay, as far as we're concerned, to have multiple teams that you make transfers in. Okay you might say that one's for overall and one's for stage prizes, but when you mess up your overall team and you've got no chance of winning any more, what's to stop you going after stages with that one too? Or going after the overall with both if you end up doing particularly well at the start?

Errrr I am not really sure if I have the time for more than one account to manage so I think I will stay with just the one.

Less of a headache that way. I might change my mind and set up a purist league but don't think so.

Expect to see my mother, brother, sister, father, granny, great uncle buck and the rest of my family joining up and just because they can, they'll all have a transfer and purist team 3

Its a choice you have to make, purist or transfers, not have both. I choose to play purist in the CD and TdS because I was not around to make transfers. I didn't just open another account 19

To be fair i agree in many respects that it should just be a choice, however now Dave has outlined how he sees the rules, Then Ive set up another account, not beacuse i beleive its particulaly right but because I dont want not to if otehrs are and its oke with Dave

Seems fairly clear. If you have a transferring team and a purist team that's ok. If you have two transferring teams that's not ok.

How about 2 work colleagues with an account each using the same work PC?
