Giro Stage 19 course

Hi People,
I'm riding the Giro d'Italia at present, and looking to start stage 19 in the next couple of hours. I can't find anything on course changes though! If anyone knows what is happening for today's stage, I would love to hear about it!

Aaahhhhhh - threw open the curtains this morning to a covering and continued snow fall. I live in London so it isn't much fun and no lovely country tracks for my mtb, crap. WHo else has been thwarted by the weather?

Hooray, January is finally over. I say finally, because it’s been an especially testing time on the bike. The climate has thrown the full gamut of weather at us, from snow to howling winds, sub zero temperatures to prolonged rain and everything else in between. Sometimes all at once within one ride.

Before you set off…

Maximise your contact patch. Road bike tyres have a larger contact patch on the road than a more knobbly mountain bike tyre, and you can maximise that precious contact further by fitting a wider tyre, and/or not running it at quite such a high pressure. That said, in snow or looser conditions a treaded tyre or even a lightly knobbed MTB or cyclocross tyre will give extra grip.

What to wear when it's freezing

What do you wear on your commute when it is zero degrees outside? Is it different to what you wear out training in the same temperature? The difference for me is in footwear and that depends on what bike I choose to ride.
