Help us choose our Eurobike uniform!

Pick a t-shirt design for our German excursion

As part of our continuing quest to bring you the best news in road cycling we will, of course, be off to Friedrichshafen for the biggest and best of all the bike shows: Eurobike. Unless you've been it's hard to imagine the scale of this giant show, 13 halls (one of them a Zeppelin hanger, for goodness' sake) filled with inestimable numbers of bikes, bits, schwag and trinkets.

In such a big show it's easy to get lost in the crowd so we're going to make up some nice road.cc tees for the occasion. Have a click through the three designs at the top of the page and tell us which one you like best. No prizes or anything, we just value your opinion...

If you don't like any of them, simply make your own in Microsoft Paint (or at Cafe Press) and post it in a comment, and we'll add that to the mix too!

Dave is a founding father of road.cc, having previously worked on Cycling Plus and What Mountain Bike magazines back in the day. He also writes about e-bikes for our sister publication ebiketips. He's won three mountain bike bog snorkelling World Championships, and races at the back of the third cats.

Yeah I like the middle one best, as Dave says the third one is supposed to be a world made in plaid, sort of the 'World is for riding' … oh, hang on that's been done hasn't it

Well it was supposed to be plaid more than Argyle, and when we were trying to design the original jersey we wanted to come up with something that looked a bit different without looking retro, and I said what about plaid!

Had a look and could only find one example of a plaid jersey in an online US store (hadn't even thought about Garmin) looked for some plaid patterns - found one, experimented with colours, was almost black and white, and soo close to being powder pink, but we bottled it and went for the pale blue… we might do some different colours in the future. Strangely enough though what with Garmin I suppose there's a fair amount of it about this year, (although it's been a bit of a favourite in the US for ages it turns out) Sugoi have a top that is very close to what our next generation jersey was going to be - same colours and everything. Ho Hum, we'll probably stick to the same design for the next batch cos they do look really good in the flesh… if I do say so myself 1

Or did you just mean, why argyle?

Don't you think the one on the far right is a bit close to the HSBC thing??

The middle one is best I think 1 but you can't go too far wrong with any of them.

the third one is a world map in argyle, but clearly it's too subtle. or just too rubbish 1

I know I should probably know this by now but what is the whole thing behind the Argyle? 7

Oh and on the designs I think the middle one's best.

The first one is too plain and it took me a while to actually see what the design was on the third one. The middle one with the three diamonds is tre snazzy in an understated argyle style.

i like the first two designs, (going left to right) but not so keen on the black tee-shirt of the second, not keen on the third design at all, sorry... in fact looking again the second is certainly the best by far, despite black t-shirt (or is it 'charcoal'!)

BTW will there be some more cycling jerseys along some time? (as i missed out the first time).

cheers. 3
