Distance accuracy Garmin v Wahoo v Komoot

Hi All, question that I have is how to get an accurate distance measure: I have a Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt head unit, and a Garmin Fenix 6 watch.  Both are paired to a Wahoo speed sensor with manual circumfirence set exactly the same.  Yet there is about 5% difference between them.

Garmin watch - 49.7km

Wahoo Bolt - 52.4km.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

incidentally the Komoot route I was following was supposed to be 50.6km.

Both your devices have GPS so you don't actually need that speed sensor at all. Maybe do a ride without it and see what you get? Pure GPS measurement is very accurate (wait for the pedants to chime in).
