Rights, finally got the speedmax cf back from canyon.
After a fair bit of diagnosis it turned out to be the cable between the battery in the seat post, and the junction box.
It seems that the cable got snagged at some point and fractured, meaning a dead Di2 !
No power, no go.

Anyhow, canyon got it sorted, and it is now working.
I have only ridden on rollers so far, but will update when I've got out n the road.
So far, power transfer seems very direct, and the bike likes to run straight and true.
Overall very comfortable. If you can't dial in a decent position on this bike you definitely get the weird shape award!
All the crewing around at the start was a real pain, but after that it seems the wait was worthwhile. On first looks, I'd say a well worthwhile buy!
I'll update more soon.

I've just taken delivery of a CF 9.0 Pro with Di2.
Very easy to build up when it arrived, though they left out the socket adapters to use with the torque wrench, all the Di2 system needed firmware updates to get it all talikng together, and either the battery, or the charger for the Di2 is dead, so the system will not talk to itself unless you have it connected to the PC, firmware updates cost me £20 at my local bike shop!
Apart from that it looks like a very good bike. I was a bit disappointed spending this much money and the service was a bit below par. I got onto Canyon who are sending out the relevant parts, and they dealt with it quite quickly.( had to send 2x emails).
All in all a small price to pay for a very nice bike, at a super price.
When I get it torqued up properly, and take it for a spin I'll let you know what it's like.

Tangential point. I have the ultimate al with Di2 and it goes like stink. I would imagine you won't be disappointed. It's also surprisingly comfortable.

100% agree. I have had the same bike as Tom since July 2012 and I'm totally happy with it, no thoughts of replacing it whatsoever. At the time I was thinking of building up a Van Nicolas frame with Di2, but reality intervened! I recently hired exactly that build on holiday and it felt sluggish, so I'm even happier.

Also, a very experienced mate recently bought a Canyon Ultimate CF SL, and he is absolutely smitten.
