Video: De Rosa 2014…

And not just De Rosa, Bottechia and Carrera too

One of the best things about Eurobike is going round the main road hall - that's A1 in case you ever make it over there - perving at all the beautifully exotic and exotically priced bikes fromt the boutique Italian bike brands. The biggest Italian brands, Bianchi, Colnago,  and and Pinarello arent' part of this little Italy but De Rosa always are - with the biggest stand like gatekeepers to the world of artisan built Italian bikes. Sadly this year there's weren't quite so many of those smaller Italian marques, but there were still some fantastic bikes to see . So Tony and Vecciojo popped over to A1 to admire, perv…  and raise the odd quizzical eyebrow.

road.cc's founder and first editor, nowadays to be found riding a spreadsheet. Tony's journey in cycling media started in 1997 as production editor and then deputy editor of Total Bike, acting editor of Total Mountain Bike and then seven years as editor of Cycling Plus. He launched his first cycling website - the Cycling Plus Forum at the turn of the century. In 2006 he left C+ to head up the launch team for Bike Radar which he edited until 2008, when he co-launched the multi-award winning road.cc - finally handing on the reins in 2021 to Jack Sexty. His favourite ride is his ‘commute’ - which he does most days inc weekends and he’s been cycle-commuting since 1994. His favourite bikes are titanium and have disc brakes, though he'd like to own a carbon bike one day.

Take it you have to go through the Bar to get to the A1 room?
