Video: Eurobike faves - Cinelli XCR & Gazzetta della Strada

Some of our favourite bikes 'n' bits from Eurobike… on vide. First up: Cinelli

We saw a lot of fantastic bikes and kit at Eurobike so on the last day of the show we ran around with our video camera and picked out some of our favourites. First up is one of Dave's picks, well it's more of a two for the price of one affair from the Cinelli stand. First he waxes lyrical about the Cinelli XCR frame - made from Columbus XCr stainless steel tubing, we've seen it before, but it is such a jaw-dropping thing of beauty in the flesh it's always a pleasure to see it again.

Second up is Dave's other show fave from the Cinelli stand another steel beaut, but this time with a slightly more functional flavour, the Gazzetta della Strada. This is a new bike in Cinelli's Gazzetta range - which up until now comprised classic fixed bikes essentialy track bikes in eye-poppingly bright colours . Cinelli describe the Gazzetta della Strada as an urban race bike, it also comes with rack mounts, and clearance for race guards and 25mm tyres. Sounds like a cracking bike for a fast commute in to work. The Euro price at the show though suggested it might just fall outside the magic cycle to work shceme £1000 mark, althougthe man from Cinelli we spoke to was pretty insistent that when it hits our shores it will be at at a cycle to work friendly price.

His favourite bikes are titanium and have disc brakes, though he'd like to own a carbon bike one day.
