Enigma Evoke Disc for club rides

Hi all, I am planning to buy an Enigma Evoke chiefly for bike packing and endurance rides. Yet, the Evoke would be my bike for my weekly fast club rides as well (about 43 km long, speed between 35-46 km/h). Currently, I am using a Giant TCR Advanced (2017 model, Ultegra) for these club rides and can keep up with the pace with no problem. My question: would the Enigma Evoke be a similarly fast bike or I would feel significant disadvantage during such group rides?

I would be thankful if any Evoke owners would share their experience.

Unless you’re time trialling or competing in hill climbs you’ll find bugger all performance difference.

Averaging 28.5mph is really cracking on. I think you'd notice a difference actually with the kind of accelerations and type of aggressive riding needed to keep that pace up. TCR is a weapon unlike the Enigma. I'm not saying it's better, mind.

Well, all the others are riding aero bikes, except me, and I rarely ride in front.  My plan with the Enigma is put on Ultegra plus light weight Zipp components. The enigma dealer says it will weight less than 8.5kg. My TCR is about 7.8-8kg. By this I will save around 1kg compared to Enigma’s stock setup. Wondering if it would somewhat help regarding the speed.

Stiffness and aggressive position more important than weight I'd say.

Well I have a TCR as a summer bike and a kinesis GF TI for poorer weather FWIW.

I think you'd find the Enigma a little lacking when really pushing it, esp if those rides require going fast up hill or rapid accelerations (46kmh OMG!)

In all other situations at more 'normal 'average speeds the Enigma would probably be just fine and a little more comfortable on the rougher roads
