When this article was in the preparation , i doubt that the case of "Charlie Alliston" was in the public domain ?

To have achieved the abiloties tht Sir Chris attained , would it be presumpteous of me to think that he had used his earliest " Track Bikes " on the road to get to training venues ? Over the years many U.K. tRack Racers would have been in need of their " track Bike " as primary transport , untol they reached the point where their Talent was recognised and thus received " Sponsored Bikes " , or were provided with access to  Team Equipment ?

WHY is it that NONE of the many U.K. Track Stars have spoken out , thus pointing out that the Media CIrcus is ILL Conceived , since there are far more people on the roads , unwittingly breaking an " Obscure Law "  ( Youngsters /school kids )? WAs this young Guy aware of the " Law " , or , was he deliberately " Flouting that Law , fully cognisant of the " Risks " he was posing to ALL ?

Is it too late for these U.K> Stars to get together and inform the Judiciary that any form of Punishment , other than a " Suspended Penalty or even Jail sentence " , would be against the Public Interest ?

BTW , will any currently riding without a " Front Brake " have gone out to their local bike shop to have that item installed ?
