London CX Scene (if I may?)

Evening folks,

I am due to move from a little known area of England aptly named  "the Midlands" to North West London. As a result, I have to say goodbye to Cyclocross (lack of appropriate storage, admin areas and soon, car). I'm undecided on curing my CX blues by never mentioning the word again, or maybe getting involved in the organisational side of things instead? That way at least I can live vicariously through others...

I would assume it works the same as other leagues in that different clubs host each race, or is there an overarching body that runs all events?

Any insight beyond what is already available online much appreciated!

It's just finished but these guys run a Londonwide summer series:

As you state, a cycle club runs the event and Beastway oversee everything.

It appears that one of the venues was Hillingdon House Farm which could be close to where you live, it may well host CX races run by other organisers.

Space is always limited in London but there are riders who do get by with bikes in flats, and spare wheels. Would be a shame if you had to give up cross, there is a cross and gravel scene in and around London.
