1wrangler, you are correct. To quote Dave,
"@tonykappler yes, if they started the stage they score points for it. so that includes KOM/sprint points and also bonus if a team mate wins". Good to know for the future.
I'll rescore whilst ToC stage 3 is running. So that is 16 points to Skujins by my calculations.
Good question. Iv'e always assumed that a rider who doesn't finish, doesn't score any points. Looking through the "How to play " notes, it says, (under scoring information), "retired riders will be removed as soon as we know they're out of the race", implying that the software won't let them be scored. It also talks about disqualified and suspended riders not scoring for that stage. But it doesn't address the situation directly.
Can you think of any precedents?
