Video Just In: Pinarello Prince FX

Check out this carbon-fibre road bike that shares many aero features with Team Sky's Dogma F10

Pinarello's Prince FX has just arrived for review, a road bike that shares many features with the Dogma F10 that Geraint Thomas, Chris Froome and the rest of Team Sky ride most of the time.

The Prince FX is made of different carbon fibre from the Dogma and the geometry is just a touch more relaxed. It also has a considerably smaller price tag although, currently retailing at £5,000, it's fair to say that this is hardly a budget option.

Fulcrum Racing 5's and mechanical Ultegra on a £5000 bike which is supposed to be the more budget option...

Not to mention the ugly forks!

The fork is inelegant.

I want to love it, but I just can't get on with what Pinarello do with the fork crown/headtube. It's as though they didn't tell the fork department that they were adding an aero headtube to the frame.
