Vulpine launches spring/summer clothing range

London-based bike clothing brand Vulpine has launched its new spring/summer 2016 range and here are some of the highlights.

We’ve not seen these clothes for ourselves yet, but Vulpine's quality is usually high.

Merino Sunset Hoodie £119

Vulpine includes a lot of merino wool in its range, merino having wicking properties to keep you sweat-free and being naturally anti-bacterial so it doesn’t quickly start to smell when you're active. Also, of course, most people find it very comfortable.

The Sunset Hoodie comes with two front pockets, ribbed cuffs and waist, and a chinguard at the top of the zip. It looks like Vulpine has kept the seams off the top of the shoulders too, so as to avoid irritation when you’re carrying a bag. As usual with Vulpine, the logo is subtle.

The Sunset Hoodie isn’t up on Vulpine’s website yet but we’re told that it will be available from the middle of next week.

Men’s Breton T-shirt £39

Breton stripes are very much on-trend right now, and they make an appearance in both Vulpine’s men’s and women’s ranges (Vulpine has men’s and women’s equivalents across most of the line-up, and that even includes the Merino Boxers!). 

Available in various colours, these T-shirts are made from a Dri-Release cotton that’s designed to wick away sweat and resist odours. The back is cut slightly longer than the front in order to keep you covered on the bike without looking odd when you’re off it.

Women’s Silk Air Vest £49

This vest is made from “a fast drying, odour-resistant modal and silk blend that’s luxurious to the touch,” according to Vulpine. Again, the back is dropped slightly for cycling. There's no men's version of this vest, nor of the Silk Air three-quarter sleeve T-shirt (£59).

Men’s Summer Shorts £69

The slim-fitting Summer Shorts are back in new colour options. They’re designed to be lightweight and slightly stretchy.

The shorts, like the trousers, have an extra diamond-shaped panel in the seating area so you don’t sit on any seams.
